Nevada's Evans Jr. to Play in NBA Summer League

RENO - Former Wolf Pack guard Jerry Evans Jr. is going to play in the NBA Summer League with the Utah Jazz.

Evans worked out for the Jazz leading up to yesterday's NBA Draft, where he went undrafted.

The 6-foot-8 Evans averaged a career-high12.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game as a senior at Nevada.

The NBA Summer League begins July 11th in Las Vegas. Former Wolf Pack teammate Deonte Burton will be there as well, playing for the Washington Wizards.
