COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Nevada senior Deborah Amoah has earned Mountain West Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honor
Amoah, from Berlin, Germany, won the Triple Jump at the Hornet Invitational in Sacramento, Calif. Her mark of 42'-7.00'' (12.98m) set a new Nevada school record, and is also a personal-best distance. She is the MW leader and ranks second nationally in the event.
