Deonte Burton hit a three-point shot with 11 seconds to go to give Nevada a 53-52 win over Utah State on Thursday night. The win ties a school record with 16 in a row.

RENO - Deonte Burton hit a three-point shot with 11 seconds to go to give Nevada a 53-52 win over Utah State on Thursday night. The win ties a school record with 16 in a row.

Burton didn't score until the 12:26 mark of the second half. He finished with 13 points and three steals. Malik Story led Nevada with 18 points, while celebrating his 22nd birthday.

The Wolf Pack improves to 19-3 overall, and 8-0 in WAC Play. They host Idaho (11-11, 4-4 WAC) on Saturday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:05pm.

I was at the game! What a nail biter!!! Amazing shot by Burton.... I don't know how he made it but he came through big time for the pack!! GO PACK!!!
