FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Brian Knoll recorded his second-straight top-10 finish as the Wolf Pack senior carded a 1-under 69 in Tuesday’s final round at the Ram Masters Invitational.
Knoll finished at 1 over and tied for eighth place at the tournament and led Nevada to another strong finish as the Wolf Pack finished alone in third. The Pack shot 854 for the 54-hole event, seven shots back of champion Denver and six back of the host school, Colorado State.
Nevada had three players notch top-20 finishes as junior Nicholas Smiths was two shots back of Knoll and tied for 13th. Freshman Rhyne Jones had another strong performance, tying for 19th in just his second collegiate event. Senior Ryan Mulvany tied for 27th while senior Josh Baskins tied for 41st.
CSU’s Cameron Harrell and DU’s Oskar Arvidsson tied for medalist honors.
Nevada will head back to Colorado next week for the Mark Simpson Invitational in Erie.
