McCallum Recalled by Kings

RENO, NV, January 21, 2014 — The Sacramento Kings have recalled rookie guard Ray McCallum from the Reno Bighorns. During his current stint with Reno, McCallum played four games with the Bighorns.

Assigned to the Bighorns on January 13, McCallum averaged 18.5 points (.469 FG%, .467 3pt%, .700 FT%), 2.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.5 steals and 34.3 minutes per game in four contests. McCallum scored in double-figures in each of the four games and twice tallied 20 or more points in helping the Bighorns improve to 13-10 overall and a 3-1 record during his assignment.

In seven games with Reno this season, McCallum is averaging 20.0 points (.462 FG%, .393 3pt%, .679 FT%), 3.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 35.7 minutes per game. McCallum has scored in double-figures in all seven games, including four times in which he posted 20 points or more.
