LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police handled a residential disturbance call involving Floyd Mayweather Jr. at his daughter's mother's house, but no one was arrested and no criminal charges were filed.
Officer Bill Cassell says Mayweather was involved in a verbal argument before police were called a little before 10 p.m. Sept. 9 to the house in a residential neighborhood south of the Las Vegas Strip.
Cassell says police found no evidence of a physical altercation, and no one in the house wanted to file a police report. Cassell says the case is closed.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (http://bit.ly/SBIoU6 ) that Melissa Brim, the mother of Mayweather's daughter, lives at the house.
Mayweather was freed from jail last month after serving two months in an unrelated misdemeanor domestic battery case.
