The mother of Louisville forward Chane Behanan says that the junior's 2012 Final Four ring posted on an online auction site was stolen.
Heaven Warren told the Associated Press that she was awaiting receipt of Behanan's ring from Grey Flannel Auctions, which stopped bidding on the ring Wednesday after she told the website it had been stolen.
The company had no comment when contacted by the AP.
Warren says, "This is not Chane's doing. ... I would just like to find out how someone got this ring (and) I would like to post their name."
The player's mother says he has talked with Louisville coach Rick Pitino and the school's compliance department about the matter. Basketball spokesman Kenny Klein says the school was looking into the situation.
