Las Vegas Has Dominated LLWS Heading into Rematch

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) - While Las Vegas manager Aston Cave was giving a pep talk to his West Region champ Mountain Ridge team before practice on Friday, a freight train rumbled past a few hundred feet away.

Without even looking up, Cave parroted his players by pumping his fist, prompting the engineer to blast the horn a couple of times.

Everything seems to be working in unison for Las Vegas these days at the Little League World Series. It has steamrolled three opponents by a score of 33-5 heading into Saturday's U.S Final against Chicago's Jackie Robinson West. When the teams met on Aug. 17, Las Vegas mercy-ruled the Chicago team 13-2 in four innings.

But few expect the rematch to be that one-sided.
