CARSON, Calif. (AP) - The Home Depot Center - a Los Angeles-area stadium that's home to the Galaxy and Chivas USA - is getting a new name.
As of June 1 it will be called StubHub Center.
The ticket-sales company says it's won naming rights for the sports complex in Carson. The price of the multi-year contract wasn't disclosed. However, Home Depot paid $70 million for a 10-year deal. The company declined to renew.
The 125-acre complex includes a 27,000-seat main stadium and also has facilities for tennis, cycling, track and other sports. It's an official training site for U.S. Olympians and also has been used for concerts.
The first scheduled StubHub Center event will be a Galaxy match on June 19.
