DENVER (AP) - Hunter Pence hit a tiebreaking double in the eighth and, more than three months after he homered in the early innings, led the San Francisco Giants over the Colorado Rockies 4-2 Monday in a game resumed after being suspended on May 22 because of rain.

The game restarted tied at 2 with two outs in the bottom of the sixth and a runner on first. Jeremy Affeldt struck out pinch-hitter Josh Rutledge to end the inning.

Affeldt (4-2) earned the win with 1 1-3 hitless innings. Before Affeldt took over, David Huff was the pitcher of record for the Giants - he was traded to the New York Yankees on June 11.

Pence, who homered in the fourth inning on May 22, doubled home Andrew Susac. Pinch-hitter Travis Ishikawa added an RBI single.

Santiago Casilla - on the disabled list when this game initially began - got his 14th save in 18 chances.

Christian Friedrich (0-4) took the loss.
