The football game between Fresno State and Colorado in Boulder, Colo., is being postponed because of flooding that's devastating the state.
The teams were scheduled to play Saturday at Folsom Field. No makeup date has been announced.
School Chancellor Philip DiStefano said that while the weather is improving, the community "is hurting. ... It's not a good time to put pressure on the community and divert attention away from people in need."
It could possibly be made up at the end of the season. Fresno State opens Mountain West Conference play next week against Boise State, while the Buffs begin Pac-12 play at Oregon State.
Up the road in Fort Collins, the game between Colorado State and Cal Poly will still be played Saturday, but officials are evaluating the situation.
