RENO, Nev. - Four Reno High School athletes signed their letters of intent on Wednesday.
Gigi Hascheff will play college basketball at Sacramento State. She was named Second Team All-State last season, averaging 11.2 points 3.5 rebounds and three assists per game. She also shot 41% from 3-point range.
Ben Lerude signed to swim at Yale. He was First Team All-Region in both the 200 and 500 meter freestyle last year.
Joe LaVallee will wrestle at Missouri. He was the Wrestler of the Year last season, being named All-North in the 145 pound weight class.
And Garrett Hampson has signed to play baseball for Long Beach State. He was named to the All-Northern Team last season as a shortstop.
