MIAMI BEACH - Former Wolf Pack cornerback Jonathon Amaya was arrested this morning for allegedly choking his taxi driver.

Amaya reportedly got into a dispute with the driver when he refused to take him to Weston, which was apparently too far for a fare.

The driver, Salvador Vunge, said that Amaya got aggressive, and tried to choke him from the back seat.

Amaya is currently a member of the Miami Dolphins. He is in his third season in the NFL.

He has 27 tackles in his career and has played for the Dolphins in two of his three seasons.
