SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah quarterback Travis Wilson is getting a chance to play football again.
Wilson announced on his Instagram account on Monday that he will return for the 2014 season. School officials confirmed Wilson has been cleared to participate in spring ball, but he will be limited to non-contact drills as a precautionary measure.
Wilson's sophomore season was cut short after the team discovered a pre-existing medical condition during a concussion diagnosis in mid-November.
Wilson must undergo further exams as doctors continue to monitor his condition to make sure no serious risk is posed to his health before the 2014 season starts.
