Former Pack WR Louks Tries Out for AFL Team

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Former Wolf Pack wide receiver Corbin Louks had a tryout with the San Jose Sabercats on Saturday.

Louks confirmed it on his Twitter feed, writing "4.38 for all u haters out there at the sabercats workout this morning.. Still grindin." The 4.38 was in reference to his time in the 40-yard dash.

Louks came to Nevada after transfetring from Utah, where he was once the Utes starting quarterback. He played safety at Nevada, before being moved to wide receiver his final season.

Louks made 26 catches for 303 yards and scored a touchdown last year at Nevada.

The Sabercats are an Arena Football League team based in San Jose.
