Former Pack Golfer Named All-American Scholar

RENO, Nev. – Former Nevada men’s golfer Josh Baskins was named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar on Tuesday.

Baskinks was one of the 207 Division I golfers named to the list, announced by the GCAA. To be eligible, an individual has to be a senior or junior academically, compete for at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in at least 50-percent of his team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. A recipient must also be of a high moral character and be in good standing with his university.
