Former Pack DE Burnett Re-Signs with Raiders

OAKLAND - Former Wolf Pack defensive end Kaelin Burnett has signed a one-year contract with the Oakland Raiders.

It was an exclusive rights tender, which is a designation for free agents with less than three years of NFL experience. He was unable to negotiate with any other team.

Burnett, a 6-foot-4, 240 pound linebacker, originally signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Nevada.

He appeared in six games as a rookie in 2012, making just one tackle. He played in 10 games last season, playing mostly on special teams, where he finished with six tackles, including four solo, and a pair of forced fumbles.
