Former Pack Catcher Designated for Assignment

CINCINNATI - Former Wolf Pack catcher Corky Miller was designated for assignment by the Reds on Friday.

Miller batted .125 in the six games since being called-up from Triple-A. He had two hits in 16 at-bats, with four walks and a pair of runs scored.

The 37-year old Miller has a .183 career batting average in parts of 11 major league seasons. He had not played in the big leagues since 2010.

Miller was batting .111 in eight games at Triple-A Louisville this season.
