Former Pack CB Wooten Signs NFL Contract

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Wolf Pack cornerback Khalid Wooten signed a contract with the Titans on Wednesday, the first day of their Offseason Training Activities.

It's a four-year deal, worth a reported $2.16 million dollars.

The Tennessean reports he will make the rookie minimum salaries of $405,000 (in 2013), $495,000 (2014), $585,000 (2015) and $675,000 (2016).

Wooten was selected in the sixth round of this year's NFL draft, number 202 overall.

The 5-foot-11 and 205 pound Wooten had 53 tackles, a sack and a pair of interceptions last season. He had 10 career interceptions and returned two of them for touchdowns. He also returned kickoffs and punts at Nevada, being named to the All-Conference second team as a senior.
