A Wolf Pack football recruit has officially decommitted from Nevada.
CentralValleyFootball.com is reporting that Kevin Nutt made the decision to keep his college options open, but is still considering Nevada.
“I didn’t want to limit myself to just that one school because I don’t want to go there and end up finding out I don’t like it and regret not looking at my other choices,” Nutt told CentralValleyFootball.com. He added, “I want to take my trips to explore what other colleges have to offer me."
Nutt is a senior running back at Edison high school down in Fresno. He originally gave his verbal commitment to Nevada back in June. He was expected to play defensive back with the Wolf Pack.
According to CentralValleyFootball.com, Nutt is scheduled to take a visit to Colorado State this weekend.
