LAS VEGAS - Fallon cowboy Jade Corkill won the world title in team roping at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
Corkill, a heeler, and his teammate Kaleb Driggers posted a 4.0 in their second and final run of the week. That was 1.2 seconds faster than the second place team.
It's Corkill's first gold buckle. He won $190,797 in earnings this year.
