LONDON (AP) - The Miracle of Medinah.
That summed up the reaction in the European media to Europe's improbable victory in the Ryder Cup.
Europe's historic comeback to beat the United States 14½-13½ at Medinah was celebrated on the front and back pages of European newspapers on Monday.
Nowhere was the win more special than in Spain, the home of European captain Jose Maria Olazabal and the late Ryder Cup stalwart Seve Ballesteros.
Spanish sports daily Marca ran a front-page headline: "This one is for you, Seve."
In Britain, several papers blared: "Miracle of Medinah."
And The Sun ran: "For You Seve."
