Dortmund, Aubameyang Lead AP Soccer Poll

LONDON (AP) - Borussia Dortmund took first place in The Associated Press global soccer poll Tuesday following its 6-2 rout of Hamburg last weekend. Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored two goals for Dortmund, earned top player honors.

Aubameyang, who also plays for Gabon, finished 16 points ahead of Mesut Ozil. Ozil made his Arsenal debut Saturday and finished one point ahead of teammate Aaron Ramsey, who scored twice in a 3-1 win at Sunderland.

Arsenal was second in the team vote with 112 points, 50 behind Dortmund. Napoli was third and Atletico Madrid fourth, only three points ahead of Everton, which beat Chelsea 1-0.
