The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled Randall Delgado from Triple-A Reno on Tuesday, and sent pitcher Charles Brewer back down to the Aces.
Delgado was scheduled to make the start against the Miami Marlins later tonight. He was 2-5 with a 5.91 ERA in 13 starts with Reno this season. He's got 57 strikeouts in 64 innings pitched.
He was called up by Arizona on June first to add some depth in their bullpen. He did not appear in any games, and was sent back down to Triple-A Reno two days later.
Brewer had been called up by the Diamondbacks on June 10th. He appeared in two games out of their bullpen, pitching 3.2 scoreless innings of relief. He gave up four hits with four strikeouts.
He was 3-6 with a 5.85 ERA in 12 starts with Reno this season.
