RENO - Former Hug high school star Courtney Gardner has signed a letter of intent to play college football at Oklahoma.
Gardner originally signed with Nevada out of high school, but did not meet the academic requirements to play for the Wolf Pack. He spent the last two seasons playing at Sierra College down in Rocklin, California where he became one of the most sought-after wide receiver recruits in the entire country.
Gardner verbally committed to play for Arkansas back in December, but still made recruiting trips to Oklahoma, Florida and Florida State.
At his press conference Wednesday, Gardner picked Oklahoma over Oregon, Texas, and LSU.
Gardner is the cousin of Wolf Pack safety Duke Williams.
