RENO, Nev. - Cody Ross will play for the Reno Aces on a rehabilitation assignment this weekend. He'll suit up for the Aces on Friday and Saturday in their home-opener against Sacramento.

Ross helped the Giants win the 2010 World Series, being named the National League Championship Series MVP that season.

He is a career .262 batter, with 122 home runs and 452 RBI during his nine-year MLB career.

Ross has been on the 15-day disabled list with a calf injury. He is expected to join the Diamondbacks next week.
