Buy A Discount Lift Ticket And Help Sierra Avalanche Center

LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (March 4, 2014) — The Sierra Avalanche Center has partnered with several Tahoe ski resorts this winter to offer discounted lift tickets that raise money for the non-profit that issues the only daily avalanche advisory for backcountry travelers in the Northern Sierra.

According to a press release today, many lift tickets are being offered at more than 50-percent discounts, and skiers and riders have dozens of dates to participate in the lift ticket fundraisers. All proceeds from the tickets sales directly support the avalanche center, a non-profit dedicated to promoting safe backcountry winter travel.

This season’s fundraisers include:
•$35 lift tickets to Homewood Mountain Resort valid from March 9 –until close

•$35 lift tickets to Mt Rose - Ski Tahoe valid from March 10-16

•$45 lift tickets to Squaw Valley Ski Resort/Alpine Meadows valid from April 6-until close

Tickets are limited and will sell out. Skiers and riders are encouraged to purchase tickets early and plan for a great day on the slopes. Tickets must be purchased online at least 24 hours in advance at with the help of, the official online lift ticket retailer for the 2014 Sierra Avalanche Center Ski and Ride Days.
