DALLAS (AP) - The Milwaukee Bucks have suspended center Samuel Dalembert for one game for what the team calls "a violation of team policy."
General manager John Hammond announced the penalty on Tuesday. The Bucks say Dalembert will serve his suspension during the Bucks' game against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.
Dalembert is averaging 7.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and just 16.7 minutes per game this season. Dalembert came to the Bucks in a trade with Houston last summer, but quickly saw his role reduced with the emergence of Larry Sanders at center.
Dalembert had a couple of very big games earlier this month while filling in for the injured Sanders. He also had 35 points and 12 rebounds in a loss to Denver on Feb. 5.
Hammond did not give a specific reason for the suspension.
