Browns Cut Former Pack LB James-Michael Johnson

Former Wolf Pack linebacker James-Michael Johnson was released by the Cleveland Browns on Saturday.

He was a fourth round pick in last year's NFL Draft.

Johnson made eight starts as a rookie, making 35 tackles last year. His season ended early, being placed on the injured reserve with a knee injury.

Johnson, a middle linebacker, ranked second on Nevada as a senior with 87 tackles and 3.5 for loss. He also had an interception and one fumble recovery.
