RENO, NV - The Wolf Pack basketball team lost for the first time this year Tuesday night, falling to Boise State 74-65.
Derrick Marks led the Broncos (12-5, 2-2) with 21 points in the win. Anthony Drmic added 17 points. Boise State led by as many as 16 points in the second half.
It was a rare off-night for Deonte Burton. He scored a season-low seven points, hitting just one of his eight shots from the floor. Burton came into the game leading the conference with a 21.8 points per game average.
Jerry Evans Jr. led the Wolf Pack with a team-high 17 points and eight rebounds. Michael Perez scored 16 points, while Cole Huff added 12 points and nine rebounds.
It was the Pack's first loss since December 28th. It also snapped a season-high four-game winning streak, and was Nevada's first conference loss of the season.
Nevada (9-9, 4-1) has a week off until they travel to Fresno State on January 22nd to face the Bulldogs. Tipoff is scheduled for 7pm next Wednesday night.
