ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Magic waived former Wolf Pack point guard Armon Johnson on Tuesday. Johnson had signed a non-guaranteed contract back in September.
Johnson played in just one game with the Trail Blazers last season before being released. He was then signed to a pair of 10-day contracts by the Nets, averaging 5.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in eight games with New Jersey.
He was a second-round pick by Portland back in the 2010 NBA draft.
The Hug high school graduate played three years at Nevada, averaging 14.3 points, 4.4 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game.
