RENO, Nev.—Barry Enright held Salt Lake to just two runs and every Aces batter recorded a hit Sunday afternoon, as Reno topped the Bees 5-3 in the series finale at Aces Ballpark.
With the win, Reno sealed its sixth-straight series victory at home.
The Aces took an early 3-0 lead and never trailed Sunday, finishing the season series against the Bees with a 9-7 advantage.
Enright (8-6) picked-up the win, scattering two runs on five hits over five innings of work. After his exit, Zach Kroenke worked 2.2 scoreless frames, Sam Demel retired the only batter he faced, and Jonathan Abaladejo finished the proceedings in the ninth for his 16th save.
The loss fell to Salt Lake starter Greg Smith (4-7), who surrendered four runs—three earned—on seven hits through 5.1 innings.
At the dish for Reno, Taylor Harbin and Brent Clevlen collected two hits apiece. Ryan Budde drove in three runs, and all five of the Aces’ runs were knocked-in by the 7-8-9 batters in the order.
