Aces' Skaggs Called Up by Diamondbacks

Reno Aces pitcher Tyler Skaggs was recalled by the Diamondbacks on Thursday.

Skaggs was scheduled to start for Reno at Colorado Springs. He'll instead get the start for Arizona against the Rockies on Friday.

He was 6-6 with a 4.25 ERA in 13 Triple-A games this season, including 11 starts. He's got 87 strikeouts in 76 innings pitched, holding opposing players to a .256 batting average.

Skaggs has made six starts for Arizona this season, going 1-3 with a 5.83 ERA.

Garrett Mock will replace Skaggs on the mound for Reno.
