PHOENIX - Reno Aces outfielder Roger Kieschnick was recalled by the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday.

Kieschnick was batting .280 in 59 games this season, with 17 doubles, two triples, nine home runs and 29 RBI.

It's his second trip to the big leagues this season. He played in four games with Arizona, going hitless in seven at-bats.

Kieschnick replaces Bronson Arroyo on the Diamondbacks roster. He was placed on the 15-day disabled list today with tendinitis in his pitching elbow.

Pitcher Eric Brooks has been called up from the Missoula Osprey of the Rookie Pioneer League to take Kieschnick's spot on Reno's roster.
