Crane Wins Farmers Insurance Open, Former Pack Golfer Allen Finishes 5th

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Former Wolf Pack golfer Michael Allen celebrated his 51st birthday in style on Sunday.

The Nevada alum shot a fourth-round best seven under to finish tied for fifth at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Piines.

Allen placed two strokes behind winner Ben Crane who held off Mark Leishman.

Phil Mickelson shot an eight under to finish nineteenth in his first tour appearance of the year.
