Former Cruiserweight champ Kelvin Davis is in a New Zealand hospital recovering from surgery on his broken back. Davis jumped off a 30 foot bridge to avoid being hit by a car. He suffered a broken back and a broken neck.
The good news for Davis is that the surgery went well, and he has feeling in all of his extremities. Davis was in Auckland training for an upcoming title fight.
He'll remain hospitalized for at least the next few weeks and should be able to fly back to Reno in about a month.
