John Wallace Wins Another National Title

Oregon State repeated as National Champions on Sunday night. The Beavers beat North Carolina 9-3 to win the College World Series.

Reno High grad John Wallace went 3-4 in the title game, driving in a run and scoring twice. He wound up batting .357 in the 5 games at the World Series.
