UCLA's Dragovic Pleads Not Guilty to Felony Assault

LOS ANGELES (AP) - UCLA forward Nikola Dragovic has pleaded not
guilty to a felony assault charge of knocking a man into a glass case after a concert in Hollywood.

The 22-year-old Serbian entered his plea Monday in Los Angeles.

The senior was suspended for two games after he and a friend were each charged last month with one count of assault. Authorities say the friend, Aleksandar Stanisic, was involved in a dispute with another man and his girlfriend during a concert. Dragovic is accused of rushing the victim and knocking him into a glass display.

Dragovic's attorney, Jon Artz, said outside of court he believes there is evidence that the alleged victim was the aggressor.

Both men, who are free on bail, are due back in court Feb. 1.
