NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee quarterback Vince Young strained his right hamstring Sunday during the second quarter against the St. Louis Rams and didn't appear likely to return with the Titans leading 23-0 at halftime.
His return was questionable after he pulled up at the end of a 44-yard run, grabbing at the back of his right leg. He headed to the locker room and didn't return until the second half.
But Young watched from the sideline as Kerry Collins kept playing.
Young was hurt at the end of the longest run of his four-year career. The quarterback had been questionable for this game with an achy right knee. But he had played very well, completing 6 of 8 for 132 yards with one touchdown and left with Tennessee up 14-0.
