Sparks High Grad Messenger Signs 1-Year Deal To Pitch In Japan
After drifting between the Pacific Coast League and the Major Leagues, Sparks High graduate Randy Messenger has decided to take his game overseas.

After drifting between the Pacific Coast League and the Major Leagues, Sparks High graduate Randy Messenger has decided to take his game overseas.
Messenger has signed a one-year deal with the Hanshin Tigers in Japan.
Tigers' catcher and former Mariners' teammate Kenji Johjima reportedly made a strong push for Hanshin to sign the pitcher.
