Rowe Drafted by Bengals

Former Nevada quarterback Jeff Rowe has earned a chance to make it in the NFL.

The Cincinnati Bengals selected Rowe in the fifth round of the NFL draft today. He was the 151st pick of the draft overall and the fourth player taken by the Bengals.

Rowe passed for more than 7,700 yards in his career and was named the most valuable player of the East-West Shrine Game in January when he threw two touchdown passes.

For his career, Rowe completed 665 of 1,096 passing attempts of 61 percent and threw for 54 touchdowns.

Former USC start Carson Plamer is the Bengals starting quarterback and Doug Johnson, a seven-year player from Florida, is currently listed second on their depth chart.
