After dominating its opponents en route to the 1A state title game, Coleville finally met its match.
Pahranagat Valley (10-0) picked off record-setting quarterback Jason Peters twice and stunned the Wolves (11-1) 60-44 to win the state championship.
Peters, a senior who has eclipsed virtually all of Nevada's state passing records, threw for 356 yards and rushed for 113.
He played a part in all six of the Wolves touchdowns.
