Reed Outlasts Defending Champ McQueen, 28-21
SPARKS, Nev. - Beating McQueen once was hard enough. Being asked to do it again, in the playoffs, proved to be a bigger challenge.

SPARKS, Nev. - Beating McQueen once was hard enough. Being asked to do it again, in the playoffs, proved to be a bigger challenge.
But once again Reed got it done.
Tyler Pine scored on a quarterback sneak with just 32 seconds left to give the Raiders (10-2) a dramatic 28-21 win over the Lancers (7-4) in the northern 4A Semifinals.
Reed led 21-13 midway through the fourth quarter when Joey Sorgani hit Rollins Stallworth for a touchdown pass. McQueen would add a two-point conversion to tie the game late.
The Raiders will play Galena (8-4) next Friday night at Damonte Ranch.
The winner advances to the 4A State Tournament.
