Report: Pack Alum Overbay Could Be Headed To Mets
Hours after the Blue Jays pulled the plug on a potential trade that would have sent Lyle Overbay to the Diamondbacks, the New York Mets have emerged as a possible destination for the former Wolf Pack slugger.

Hours after the Blue Jays pulled the plug on a potential trade that would have sent Lyle Overbay to the Diamondbacks, the New York Mets have emerged as a possible destination for the former Wolf Pack slugger.

The Blue Jays are working on a three-way dealt that would send Overbay to the Mets; Luis Castillo to the Cubs; and MIlton Bradley to Toronto, according to Fox Sports.

Overbay hit .265 with 16 home runs last season with the Jays.
