University of Nevada senior Nick Fazekas has been named to the Associated Press' second team All-America team.
Fazekas, a 6'11" forward, joins Boston College's Jared Dudley, Tennessee's Chris Lofton, Florida's Joakim Noah and North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough on the second team. The AP first team included Ohio State's Greg Oden, Texas' Kevin Durant, Texas A&M's Acie Law IV, UCLA's Arron Afflalo and Wisconsin's Alando Tucker.
Fazekas, a three-time Western Athletic Conference player of the year, was a third team All-America choice last year.
He is the Wolf Pack's career leader for scoring, blocked shots, field goals and free throws made.
Fazekas is also the first player in school history to score 2,000 points and pull down 1,000 rebounds in his career.
