RENO - Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick was named the CFPA National Performer of the Week on Sunday.
Kaepernick rushed for 230 yards and four touchdowns in the Wolf Pack's 70-45 win over Idaho on Saturday. He did it on just 15 carries, averaging 15.3 yards per attempt. He also added 178 yards passing and two more TD's through the air.
Kaepernick shares the honor with San Diego State's QB Ryan Lindley.
The award is handed out annually by the College Football Performance Awards.
Kaepernick is also one of four finalists for the AT&T Player of the Week. Fans can vote for the winner by texting VOTE to 345345. The voting period ends on Wednesday night at 11:35pm ET.
