RENO, Nev. — The University of Nevada Sports Network and Nevada's broadcast partner, MY 21 KAME-TV, will televise a total of eight men's basketball road games this year, starting with Nevada's Dec. 5 game at Pacific.
KAME-TV (My 21) is the My Network TV affiliate in Reno, and can be seen locally on Channel 21. My 21 can also be seen on channel 7 on Charter Cable.
Comcast SportsNet California will also carry Nevada's games on a live or tape-delayed basis throughout the year, putting Wolf Pack basketball in the homes of fans in northern Nevada, the Bay Area and northern and central California.
In addition to the Dec. 5 game vs. the Tigers, fans can also watch the Wolf Pack on KAME and Comcast SportsNet California in the Las Vegas Classic against BYU on Dec. 22 and either Nebraska or Tulsa on Dec. 23. The networks will carry five Western Athletic Conference contests, including Jan. 2 at Louisiana Tech, Jan. 20 at Boise State, Jan. 23 at Fresno State, Feb. 25 at San Jose State and Feb. 27 at Hawai'i.
Play-by-play announcers Rich Cellini and Bob Akamian and color analysts Dave Bollwinkel and former Wolf Pack head coach Len Stevens will share the announcing duties for Nevada's men's basketball broadcasts this season.
In addition to Nevada's eight local games, the Wolf Pack is slated to appear on national television at least seven times, meaning that fans will be able to see all but one Nevada road game on television this year.
The Mtn. will carry the team's Nov. 18 game at UNLV, while Fox Sports Net will televise the Nov. 29 game at North Carolina. Nevada will appear on ESPN2 Jan. 13 vs. Utah State and Feb. 10 at Utah State, while ESPNU will carry the Wolf Pack's Jan. 4 contest at New Mexico State, the Jan. 30 home game vs. Hawai'i and the Feb. 6 tilt at Utah State.
