Nevada's Nick Fazekas enters tonight's game against Utah State as one of only three players in the nation averaging at least 20 points and 10 rebounds a game.
Fazekas is fifth in rebounding with 11.2 boards per game. He's 21st in the Ncaa in scoring with 20.5 points per outing.
Kevin Durant of Texas is averaging 11.4 rebounds and 25.1 points while Jason Thompson of Rider averages 10.1 rebounds and 20.1 points.
Fazekas also figures in the top 40 nationally in both free throws and field goal percentage. He's made 57.6 percent of his shots from the field and nearly 89 percent of his free throws.
As a team, the tenth-ranked Wolf Pack have the 26th best scoring
average in the nation at just under 78 points per game.
They take a 28.3 record into this evening's semifinal against Utah State in the Western Athletic Conference tournament at Las Cruses, New Mexico. Tip off is set for 5pm Nevada time.
