WASHINGTON -- An inability to meet his new coach's expectations has put former Nevada center JaVale McGee at number three on the Washington Wizards' depth chart, according to the Washington Post.
McGee reportedly said he arrived at training camp about five pounds short of his goal to weigh 250 pounds this season.
Earlier this preseason, new Wizards' coach Flip Saunders criticized McGee's conditioning and focus. Although, there are reports that Saunders has been more impressed by McGee as of late.
McGee has scored a total of 22 points on 7-for-8 shooting with six rebounds in 32 minutes off the bench this preseason.
