Red Sox Return For Must-Win At Home Against Halos

BOSTON (AP) - History was with Boston before the start of its AL division series against the Los Angeles Angels. The Red Sox need hits now.

If they don't get enough of them Sunday, their hopes for a third World Series championship in six years likely will be gone.

The Red Sox had just one run and eight hits in losing the first two games of the best-of-five series in Anaheim. They had won each of their last three division series against Los Angeles, taking nine of 10 games. Now they hope returning to Fenway Park will help.

Manager Terry Francona says his hitters are more comfortable at home.
